Class of 2011 RC Section Officer Election Process Begins!

Do you want an opportunity to really help shape your Section’s experience? Consider running to be a Section Officer. Each Section has 18 Officers that attend to Section-specific affairs, ranging from athletics to alumni. Do you like jobs? Run for Career Representative. Are you concerned about the quality/number of parties? Well run for Social Rep and keep the party going. Are you really good at remembering stuff that happened earlier? You should be Historian. Maybe you’re just really good with computers. There’s a place for you as Technology Rep. Regardless of your inclination, there’s a leadership position for you in your Section. Play a role in creating the best possible Section experience and run to be a Section Officer.

Section Officer Elections Calendar (subject to change):
3:00PM Friday, September 25: Information session in Spangler Auditorium
4:00PM Monday, September 28: Position papers due, 2nd Floor Spangler
11:40 or 12:30PM Thursday October 1, Section Candidate Speeches
1:30-11:59PM Thursday October 1, Section Elections – Candidates notified at 8PM on 10/4
12:00AM to 6PM Monday October 5, Section Election Run-offs – Candidates notified at 8PM on 10/5

To sign up to run for a Section Officer position you must:

- Drop off a position paper (8-1/2” x 11”) at the Student Services counter in Spangler
Both must be done by 4PM on Monday 9/28.
